Your business details, an invoice number, the date and due date, the client, the service address, each line of work (for example lawn mowing, edging and trimming and leaf removal) with quantity and rate, then tax and the balance due.
Send it after each visit, or once a month for regular clients who prefer one bill. Pick a due date and stick to it.
It depends on your state. Some states tax services like lawn care and others don't, and rules can differ for labor and materials. Check with your state's department of revenue, then enter the rate in the Tax box.
